taste aloha

When in Kona, I had the opportunity to do some product photography for my good friend, Suzanne.  Since 1993 her family has worked a coffee farm on 10 acres of the slopes of Mauna Loa volcano- tending heirloom trees over eighty yeras old.  Hand-picked, processed & sun-dried, the beans are taken from tree to roast right there on the farm.  Young volcanic soil & warm tropical rains make for a rich, sweet & inviting flavor.  I'm not a coffee drinker, but this coffee turned me into one during my stay.

They also offer farm-grown Macadamia nuts (roasted or raw by request), mac nut chocolates, and mac nut oil.  Custom packages are available in a lauhala woven gift box.
